The Association of Independent Yoga Practitioners

The AIYP has been set up to:

• Establish and maintain standards of education for teachers of yoga.
• Keep a register of the individual members of the AIYP.
• Provide insurance cover for teachers accepted into the AIYP.
• Promote, assist, approve, co-operate with or arrange for union or alliance with any college, school or body with similar aims to those of the AIYP.
• Pursue the objects of the AIYP in the United Kingdom and if thought fit in any other part of the world.

Benefits of AIYP Membership

As well as being eligible to apply for AIYP yoga teaching insurance, AIYP members are able to create their own profile page on this website. Each teacher profile page is accessible, via the Teacher Search facility, to anyone browsing this website. By creating a profile page all AIYP members are contributing to what we hope will become a comprehensive database of likeminded yoga teachers.
